It assesses the following criteria in its decision making:
- The concept of the media campaign
- Alignment of the media solution with the marketing and communication aims
- Creativity in the media strategy and media selection
- Innovative use of traditional and non-traditional media
- Innovative search for new ways of communication
- Technical implementation
The jury will make its decision in two rounds. In the first round it will select the finalists that get awarded the Sempler Diploma and are short-listed. The jury then selects the best entry in each of the categories and awards it with the Golden Sempler.
The jury also selects the overall winner among all of the best-graded projects, which is then awarded the Grand Sempler. Every entry can only win one award. The jury does not have to hand out the awards in all competition categories.
Awards
The jury will confer the following awards:
- The Sempler Diploma (for making it to the short-list)
- The Golden Sempler (for the winner of an individual category)
- The Grand Sempler (the most creative media strategy of the year)
Important
All the entries will be presented to the participants of the SEMPL 11 media trends seminar in electronic form. The participants will have separate computers available to view the projects. The short-listed entries will be presented to the audience in the main hall as part of a special SEMPL programme.
